Nascent is seeking a Junior Accounting Analyst to join our fully remote team, operating at the intersection of traditional finance and emerging digital asset ecosystems. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate, audit-ready books across fiat and crypto, reconciling complex transactions, and partnering with engineers and operators to streamline data workflows. You’ll ensure financial information is reliable, automate repetitive tasks, and contribute to building scalable systems that enhance accounting operations.
This role is ideal for someone highly proactive, detail-oriented, and curious, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving in fast-moving environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting cycle for fiat and crypto, from wallets/exchanges to ledgers and reporting
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to transform raw data into reliable, automated workflows
- Maintain accurate reconciliations, ledgers, and documentation, ensuring audit-readiness
- Automate manual processes using integrations, AI-driven tools, or lightweight scripting
- Identify issues proactively, propose solutions, and implement improvements
- Support the ongoing development of Nascent’s crypto accounting infrastructure

- Experience operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Nice to Haves:
- Big 4 firm experience, managing complex financials under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with crypto accounting or digital asset operations
- Experience building or contributing to custom financial software
