Description:
KAF Group is currently hiring a Junior Accountant with strong retail and supermarket accounting experience to join their finance team in the UAE. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented and experienced in handling day-to-day accounting operations within a retail environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reconciliation activities, and assisting in overall financial reporting processes.
• Manage daily accounting entries and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Handle invoicing, billing, and payment processing activities
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliation tasks regularly
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
• Maintain proper records using accounting software and MS Excel
• Support the finance team in routine accounting and administrative tasks
Requirements:
• Prior experience in retail or supermarket accounting is mandatory
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
• Experience in invoicing, reconciliation, and daily accounting operations
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
• Home-country accounting experience will also be considered
