Description:
Amer Smart UAE is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. The company is looking for an individual who can efficiently handle day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support overall financial operations within the organization.
The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, good analytical skills, and the ability to work with financial data accurately. Experience in UAE accounting practices and familiarity with VAT regulations will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and review ledger entries regularly.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers as required.
• Assist in VAT documentation, filing, and compliance-related activities.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure proper documentation.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify financial data.
Requirements and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
