NHG is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to become part of its expanding team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for UAE-based candidates who are looking to grow their accounting career within a professional and fast-paced working environment.
The selected candidate will support the finance department by handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, and ensuring smooth coordination of payment and reconciliation processes. The company is looking for an individual with strong organizational skills, accuracy in financial reporting, and the ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter and maintain accounting records, invoices, and financial transactions accurately within the accounting system.
• Record and update bank transactions as well as petty cash entries on a regular basis.
• Handle petty cash management while ensuring all supporting records and documents are properly maintained.
• Prepare payment vouchers and process bank payments after receiving the necessary approvals.
• Track and manage accounts payable and receivable through cash, bank transfers, and other payment methods.
• Maintain organized and accurate records for vendor and client accounts to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Ensure systematic filing and documentation of invoices, vouchers, receipts, and supporting financial documents.
• Assist in conducting reconciliations for bank accounts, petty cash balances, and other financial records.
• Support the finance team with additional accounting and administrative tasks when required.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience within the UAE, preferably in the service sector.
• Good understanding of accounting procedures, bookkeeping, and financial documentation.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to work with attention to detail and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
