We are urgently hiring a Junior Accountant for an opportunity based in Dubai, UAE. This role is well-suited for early-career accounting professionals who are eager to gain hands-on experience while supporting daily finance operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work closely with the finance team.
Job Summary:
The Junior Accountant will assist with routine accounting activities, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and provide ongoing support in reporting, reconciliation, and compliance-related tasks. This role plays an important part in maintaining organized and up-to-date financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record, review, and process invoices, payments, and receipts on a regular basis
- Maintain proper bookkeeping records and post journal entries accurately
- Assist during month-end and year-end closing processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and handle petty cash management
- Prepare basic financial statements, reports, and summaries
- Support internal and external audits along with other ad-hoc accounting duties
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Between 0 to 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime accounting software
- Strong numerical ability with good analytical and organizational skills
