Description:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join a growing finance team in Dubai. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants hands-on experience in bookkeeping, month-end activities, and financial administration within a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Record transactions, maintain ledgers, and ensure financial data is accurate and up to date.
- Invoicing & Payment Support: Prepare invoices, payment vouchers and assist with vendor and customer reconciliations.
- Month-End Support: Help with month-end closing tasks and contribute to basic financial reporting.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve billing or payment issues.
- Audit & Documentation Assistance: Support senior accountants during audits and maintain organised financial documentation.
- Compliance & Procedures: Follow company accounting policies and standard accounting principles in all tasks.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience — fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable using Excel and basic accounting software.
- Positive, responsible attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Based in Dubai or willing to relocate to the UAE.
