Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join the finance team at our Dubai Investment Park 2 location. This role is suited for a B.Com graduate with solid bookkeeping skills who can start immediately and help maintain smooth daily accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately record supplier and customer invoices and post them to the accounting system.
• Handle petty cash—verify receipts, record transactions and reconcile balances.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice matching and vendor communications.
• Assist with month-end close activities and prepare basic financial summaries and reports.
• Use MS Excel for data analysis, reporting and improving record-keeping efficiency.
Requirements:
• B.Com graduate with strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Able to manage supplier/customer invoice booking, petty cash procedures and bank reconciliations.
• Excellent MS Excel skills and clear communication abilities.
• Available to join immediately.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
