Description:
Right Key Shipping LLC is expanding its finance team and seeks a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support accounting operations specific to freight forwarding and logistics. This role demands hands-on experience with transactional accounting, tax compliance, and day-to-day ledger management within the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely supplier payments and accurate client invoicing.
- Prepare and assist with VAT returns and corporate tax documentation as required.
- Record and reconcile daily transactions, ledgers, and bank statements.
- Support month-end closing activities and basic financial reporting.
- Liaise with operations and forwarding teams to ensure billing and cost allocations are correct.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Proven experience with VAT filing and handling corporate tax-related tasks.
- Strong competency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) workflows.
- Good command of English and Hindi—both written and verbal.
- Availability for immediate joining is essential.
