A dynamic consulting firm in Business Bay, Dubai is expanding and looking for a capable Junior Accountant to join the team immediately. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who’s familiar with UAE regulations and comfortable handling full-cycle accounting and tax compliance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full-cycle accounting: Process journals, post transactions, maintain ledgers and ensure books are up to date in line with UAE standards.
• Tax compliance: Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate Tax filings to the FTA and support related correspondence.
• Financial statements: Compile monthly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Document control: Maintain, verify and file key financial documents and source records for accuracy.
• Client consultation: Provide practical advice to clients on tax and accounting matters as needed.
• External coordination: Liaise with auditors, banks and UAE authorities during audits and statutory processes.
• FTA compliance: Ensure transactions and filings meet Federal Tax Authority requirements.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience — experience in accounting firms and UAE exposure is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT and Corporate Taxrules and filing procedures.
• Hands-on experience preparing and filing tax returns.
• Proficiency in TALLY ERP (or comparable accounting software).
• High attention to detailand excellent communication skills.
• English proficiencyat intermediate level or above.
