Description:
Metal Craft Industries LLC, a leading Dubai-based manufacturer of Fire-Rated Doors and Architectural Metal Products, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts team. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who have UAE experience and are looking to grow their career in the manufacturing sector.
The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reporting and compliance activities, and contribute to the efficient management of the company’s finance functions. Candidates with strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and experience using accounting software are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and maintain procurement documentation.
• Verify vendor invoices and accurately record financial transactions.
• Prepare customer invoices and Statements of Account (SOAs).
• Perform accounting data entry and maintain organized financial records.
• Follow up on accounts receivable and customer collections.
• Prepare payment requests along with supporting documentation.
• Organize and maintain accounting files and financial records.
• Assist with planning, costing, and financial analysis activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with tax returns, regulatory filings, and compliance requirements.
• Provide support during internal and external audit processes.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Accounting.
• CPA qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in a similar accounting position.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Microsoft Excel, Odoo, and other accounting software
• Financial reporting, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures
• Accounts receivable, invoicing, tax compliance, and audit support
