Description:
Eram Investment is seeking a skilled Junior Accountant to become part of its Finance Team in Dubai. This opportunity is best suited for professionals with solid accounting experience who can confidently handle daily financial operations while assisting the Senior Accountant with core finance functions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting activities, and contributing to the smooth operation of the finance department. Candidates currently residing in the UAE will be given preference for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle daily bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and tax reports.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Support cash flow monitoring and financial planning activities.
• Assist during internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to improving accounting procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Accountant and Investment Team.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• International accounting experience, preferably within UK or European environments, is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in investment management or financial services is an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• VAT and tax compliance.
• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Microsoft Excel.
