Description:
Future Workplace is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to become part of its team in Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates who have a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and are eager to build their careers in a professional work environment.
The selected candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support VAT-related activities, and contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes. The role also requires close coordination with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting entries.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Maintain supplier and customer account records.
• Assist in preparing UAE VAT reports and related documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for management.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal departments whenever required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Zoho.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
