Description:
A reputable organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for a motivated and detail-focused Junior Accountant (UAE National) to join its Finance Department. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals at the beginning of their accounting careers who are eager to build practical experience within a professional and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will assist with a variety of accounting and financial operations while gaining exposure to reporting, reconciliations, treasury functions, budgeting activities, and financial compliance processes. The role offers valuable hands-on experience and opportunities for professional growth within a structured finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with recording accounting transactions and maintaining accurate general ledger records.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, including bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and general ledger balances.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Support treasury-related functions, including payment preparation and transaction tracking.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes when required.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely collection and submission of financial information.
• Perform additional finance and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager and Head of Finance and Tax.
Requirements:
• UAE National (Emirati) holding a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively within a team environment.
