Description:
National Transport Company is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join its team in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is suitable for accounting professionals with experience in financial analysis, cost control, and reporting, especially within the transport, fleet, or automotive sector.
The successful candidate will support accounting operations, prepare financial reports, analyze costs, assist with tender documentation, and monitor contracts and expenses. Candidates must be currently based in the UAE and available to join.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare vehicle purchase cost comparisons and perform cost analysis.
• Support tender preparation and submission processes.
• Monitor and coordinate contract renewals.
• Assist with cost control, budgeting, and expense monitoring activities.
• Prepare financial reports, comparisons, and management summaries.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Previous experience in transport, fleet, or automotive operations is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data.
• Knowledge of cost control, tenders, contracts, and procurement processes is an advantage.
• Must be currently based in the UAE and available to join.
