The company is currently seeking a motivated Junior Account Executive to join its sales team. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional passionate about education and eager to build partnerships with schools and districts. The position focuses on outreach, pipeline development, and supporting the expansion of purpose-driven learning programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across school districts
• Conduct outreach and build relationships with educators and decision-makers
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline through research and strategic prospecting
• Engage in daily conversations with schools to promote education programs
• Support districts in understanding and adopting Wayfinder’s curriculum
• Follow up consistently with interested schools and partners
• Conduct site visits and presentations for potential clients
• Collaborate with internal sales and business development teams
Requirements:
• Experience in a quota-carrying sales role (BDR, SDR, or AE preferred)
• Background or exposure to K–12 education sector strongly preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated mindset
• Ability to manage multiple prospects and pipelines effectively
• Passion for education and purpose-driven learning
• Experience with Salesforce, Outreach.io, or Gong is a plus
• Strong knowledge of:
• Sales and lead generation strategies
• K–12 education systems and decision-making processes
• CRM tools and pipeline management
• Relationship-based selling techniques
