WE’RE HIRING — Joinery Estimator
We are seeking a detail-focused Joinery Estimator to join our team and deliver accurate, market-competitive cost estimates for custom joinery and interior fit-out works. The ideal candidate will turn technical drawings into concise tender packages, manage supplier quotations, and support the commercial side of projects from tender stage through to budget planning.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyse project drawings, specifications and tender documents to determine joinery scope and quantities.
- Prepare detailed BOQs, quotations and material take-offs that clearly reflect scope, unit rates and assumptions.
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor pricing to produce competitive cost proposals.
- Coordinate with project teams and designers for technical clarifications and practical value-engineering options.
- Manage tender submissions, RFQs and post-tender clarifications, tracking timelines and responses.
- Support budgeting and cost planning for live and upcoming projects to help forecast spend and margins.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years’ UAE / GCC experience in joinery or fit-out estimation.
- In-depth knowledge of joinery materials, production techniques and current market rates.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilitywith a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD and common estimation software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present commercial information clearly.
