Description:
USBC Interiors is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman to join its expanding team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in interior fit-out and joinery projects who are passionate about producing accurate technical drawings and supporting the successful delivery of high-quality projects across the UAE.
The successful candidate will prepare detailed shop and fabrication drawings, coordinate with project stakeholders, and provide technical support throughout the production and installation process. Candidates with strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of joinery manufacturing techniques are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed joinery shop, fabrication, and installation drawings.
• Develop production drawings, material take-offs, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, engineers, and production teams.
• Review architectural and interior design drawings to ensure technical accuracy.
• Conduct site measurements and update drawings when required.
• Prepare as-built drawings and maintain drawing revision records.
• Provide technical support to production and site teams throughout project execution.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery or interior fit-out projects.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, woodworking techniques, and production processes.
• Ability to interpret architectural and interior design drawings accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Experience with custom furniture, millwork, cabinetry, and wooden finishes will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• AutoCAD and technical drafting
• Joinery materials, woodworking techniques, and production processes
• SketchUp, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, or similar design software
