Description:

Omnix International LLC is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to support a leading government entity in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for IT professionals with strong technical support expertise, hands-on experience with ServiceNow, and the ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment. Emirati/UAE Nationals and Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred, although strong non-Arabic applicants will also be considered.

The successful candidate will provide end-user technical support, manage IT service requests, resolve hardware and software issues, and contribute to ongoing technology initiatives. Individuals with excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong documentation skills, and experience in government or enterprise environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.

• Manage incidents and service requests using ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.

• Work closely with senior specialists and project managers to resolve complex technical issues.

• Document troubleshooting procedures and maintain the team’s technical knowledge base.

• Support system upgrades, deployments, and new technology implementations.

• Develop user guides and training materials for common technical issues.

• Ensure compliance with organizational governance, reporting, and operational standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Operations, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Support or a similar technical support role.

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or an equivalent IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments.

• Arabic language proficiency is preferred; strong non-Arabic candidates will also be considered.

• Experience working within a government organization or large enterprise environment is an advantage.

• Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

• Maximum notice period of 30 days.
