A healthcare IT services organization is seeking an IT Helpdesk Associate to provide frontline technical support for clinical applications. The company focuses on improving healthcare operations through technology solutions, including healthcare cloud services, application support, analytics, and system integration.
The successful candidate will support healthcare professionals by handling technical issues, managing service requests, and ensuring smooth operation of clinical applications. This remote role requires strong communication skills, troubleshooting abilities, and the flexibility to work in a 24/7 service desk environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound service desk calls in a 24/7 call center environment supporting clinical applications such as Epic, Cerner, McKesson, and Meditech.
• Troubleshoot issues related to workflows, application errors, user access, and system functionality.
• Document user interactions and manage incident tickets through resolution or escalation.
• Maintain availability in the phone queue during scheduled shifts with assigned breaks.
• Work from a quiet and private workspace with reliable high-speed wired internet.
• Travel up to 10% and lift up to 25 lbs. when required.
• Use a working mobile phone for manager communication and Two-Factor Authentication.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of call center customer service experience.
• Minimum 4 years of service desk, helpdesk, or equivalent technical support experience.
• At least 1 year of technical troubleshooting experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong typing skills and excellent English communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced technical support environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of:
• IT helpdesk operations and technical troubleshooting.
