WE’RE HIRING – IT Coordinator
The Tower Plaza Hotel is looking for a proactive and detail-focused IT Coordinator to keep our technology running smoothly and support our growing operations. This role is central to maintaining daily IT services, coordinating with external vendors, and assisting with technology rollouts that help the hotel operate efficiently.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting — Act as first-line support for staff by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and user account issues; escalate complex problems to external vendors or senior IT staff.
  • IT Inventory & Asset Management — Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, manage tagging and asset lifecycle, and coordinate repairs or replacements.
  • Vendor Coordination — Liaise with service providers and suppliers for procurement, warranty claims, installations and maintenance activities.
  • Systems Implementation & Upgrades — Support deployment of new systems and upgrades, assist with testing and scheduling to minimize operational disruption.
  • Network & Security Assistance — Assist with basic network troubleshooting, backups, patching and routine security checks under guidance.
  • Documentation & Training — Prepare and maintain IT documentation (SOPs, user guides) and provide basic training or onboarding support for hotel staff.
  • Ad-hoc IT Projects & Support — Contribute to IT projects and perform other related tasks assigned by management to improve hotel operations.

DESIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Practical experience in IT support or coordination roles (hotel/hospitality experience is a plus).
  • Good working knowledge of standard office systems (Windows, Office suite) and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise requests.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work with non-technical staff and external vendors.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies used in a hotel environment.
