About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on IT Applications Specialist to own and optimize our key business systems. You will be responsible for administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and HubSpot CRM, building reports and dashboards with Power BI and SQL, and leveraging advanced Excel capabilities. The role also requires coordinating with our external AMC provider and leading user training and cyber-security awareness initiatives to improve system adoption and reduce risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Dynamics 365 BC & HubSpot Administration: Configure, maintain and support Business Central and HubSpot modules (logistics, service, finance), manage users, roles, permissions and workflows.
- Reporting & Analytics: Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, write SQL queries for operational reporting, and create advanced Excel solutions (macros, Power Query) for stakeholders.
- IT Coordination: Act as primary liaison with the AMC/vendor team for incident management, upgrades, SLA tracking and change requests.
- User Enablement & Security Awareness: Deliver training sessions, create user guides, and run cybersecurity awareness programs to improve best practices across the business.
- Troubleshooting & Improvements: Investigate application issues, implement fixes or workarounds, and propose process improvements and automations (Power Automate where applicable).
- Documentation & Governance: Maintain configuration documentation, runbooks and change logs; support compliance and governance activities related to business applications.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) working with Dynamics 365 Business Central and HubSpot CRM, ideally across logistics, service and finance modules.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Power BI and advanced Excel (including macros and Power Query).
- Experience coordinating with external IT service providers and basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to train users and translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Systems.
- Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 BC, Power BI, HubSpot or SQL.
- Familiarity with Power Automate, SharePoint and cloud services (Azure/Office 365) is an advantage.
