Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled iOS Engineer to scale our iOS app and deliver engaging user experiences. This role reports to a Senior Engineering Manager and works within a remote-friendly team of six engineers. Your work will directly impact the accessibility and quality of mental health care across the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain new functionality for the Grow Therapy iOS app using Swift
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve performance issues, bugs, and technical challenges
- Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends and best practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions and implement innovative solutions for complex problems
Candidate Profile:
- 3-5 years of experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Graphics
- Demonstrated experience contributing to production iOS apps and independently owning development tasks
- Outcome-focused, prioritizing the impact and business value of your work
- Adaptable to evolving requirements and dynamic environments
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate with empathy
- Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using AI tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity
- Collaborated with full-stack teams to integrate backend and/or frontend components for mobile apps
- Experience taking products from initial launch (0-to-1) to successful scaling
Compensation Details:
- Hybrid Commitment: $182,000 – $227,700 USD annually
- Fully Remote Commitment: $152,000 – $189,750 USD annually
- Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and working location
- Hybrid option requires onsite presence three days per week at NYC, San Francisco, or Seattle hubs, plus 2–3 annual travel events
