Description:

A leading healthcare information services organization is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Invoicing Specialist to join its invoicing team. The company operates in the healthcare records management sector, providing technology-driven solutions that help hospitals, health systems, and provider networks efficiently manage and release medical records.

The Invoicing Specialist will play a key role in ensuring that invoices related to medical record releases are processed correctly, accurately, and in compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. This role also involves communication with internal teams and external requesters to resolve discrepancies and maintain smooth workflow operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate medical record request invoices using MedRelease software

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoicing data for all requests

• Review and respond to internal feedback to resolve billing issues

• Assist the Invoicing/Audit Manager in resolving discrepancies and missing information

• Collaborate with internal departments to address invoicing concerns

• Respond to billing and invoicing inquiries from third-party requesters

• Maintain detailed notes and documentation throughout the request lifecycle

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and healthcare data standards

• Maintain high accuracy while handling large volumes of invoicing tasks

• Support continuous improvement in invoicing processes and workflows

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage high-volume workloads

• Good communication skills for cross-department coordination

• Ability to follow structured guidelines and make informed decisions

• Experience in medical records auditing or healthcare billing is preferred

• Basic knowledge of healthcare administrative processes is an advantage
