Description:
Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Specialist to join the Advertising Support Operations team at KATU/KUNP. This remote position is focused on managing commercial advertisement inventory, ensuring accurate log editing, preventing oversells, and collaborating closely with Sales Managers to maximize revenue and inventory potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify commercial logs for correct programming information, commercial content, product and advertiser separation, and detailed on-air broadcast editing
- Manage all advertising materials efficiently to maximize inventory and revenue potential
- Assist with programming processes, generate sales reports, and handle advanced inventory tasks within established deadlines
- Communicate daily inventory availability and programming conflicts to stations
- Collaborate professionally with team members and management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Computer literate, detail-oriented, dependable, and dedicated
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Broadcast TV or radio experience is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Preference for candidates in Mountain or Pacific Time zones
