About the role
Sinclair is hiring an Inventory Specialist to join the Advertising Support Operations team. In this role you will manage commercial advertising inventory through log editing, preempting and other inventory-control techniques. You’ll work closely with station Sales Managers to communicate availability, resolve programming conflicts and maximize daily inventory and revenue opportunities.
General Responsibilities
- Verify commercial logs for correct programming details, ad content, product separation, advertiser separation and make broadcast-ready edits.
- Manage advertising assets to optimise inventory usage and help increase daily revenue potential.
- Support programming processes by generating sales and inventory reports and managing advanced inventory tasks within set timeframes.
- Communicate inventory availability and program conflicts to stations on a daily basis.
- Collaborate professionally with colleagues and managers to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Candidate profile & skills
- Computer literate, detail-oriented and dependable.
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced broadcast environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Broadcast TV or radio experience is advantageous but not required — training will be provided for the right candidate.

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $18.50 to $18.81 per hour. Final pay will be based on experience, skills, certifications and location.
