Description:
ClearCaptions LLC is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize inventory operations across its 3PL partner locations in the U.S. This fully remote role involves ensuring accurate receipt, tracking, stocking, and monitoring of all inventory—from phones in the field and forward stocking locations to returned or damaged items. The position emphasizes analytical tools and process improvement to enhance efficiency and maintain alignment with business objectives. The Inventory & Logistics Manager reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain & Logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day tactical inventory operations across U.S. 3PL locations, including in-transit items from factories.
- Develop, implement, and improve inventory processes throughout the domestic 3PL network.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor inventory process efficiency.
- Standardize and document inventory processes for consistency and performance.
- Actively communicate with Sales teams regarding inventory levels, aging, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with business partners to enhance logistics workflows and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in domestic and international logistics, order fulfillment, or related fields.
- Proven experience leading Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Experience collaborating with sales representatives and support operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Salesforce.com highly desired.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate colleagues toward business goals.
- Strong analytical, planning, and budgeting capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 20%, including overnight trips.
- Proficient in MS Office and modern virtual team communication tools (e.g., MS Teams).
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of keyboarding and viewing computer monitors, tablets, and cell phone screens requiring close vision.
Work Environment:
- Primarily remote work with occasional travel to company, customer, and vendor sites (up to 20%).
Compensation:
- $90,000–$104,000 plus 5% bonus, with final pay determined by qualifications, experience, and business needs.
