Internal Controls Specialist
We are looking for a seasoned Internal Controls Specialist to lead and continuously improve our Management System (MS) in line with ISO standards and client requirements. This role will own audit activities, drive compliance, author and update policies, deliver practical training, and promote operational excellence across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For
🎓 Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degreein any discipline.
- ISO Lead Auditor Certificationcovering ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, and ISO/IEC 20000-1 — mandatory.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)is a plus.
💼 Work Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in integrated management systems (IMS), internal controls, or auditing leadership roles.
- Proven track record working with UAE federal regulations, OSHAD, and local HSE authority standards.
- Experience in technology, IT, or fast-growth sectors is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to create documentation, run stakeholder workshops, and lead cross-functional training.
📚 Technical & Functional Expertise
- Deep familiarity with ISO standards, audit planning and execution, and document control systems.
- Strong capability in legal/regulatory interpretation and ensuring organisational compliance.
- Skilled in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, risk assessment, and corrective-action systems.
- Comfortable preparing management reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
