Description:
Getinge is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Quality Internal Auditor to join our global team. This fully remote role focuses on performing internal audits across Getinge sites worldwide to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. The auditor will provide early identification of noncompliance, complete audit documentation, and support continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Corporate Internal Audits in compliance with regulatory requirements and documented procedures.
• Lead audits at various global Getinge locations, coordinating and collaborating effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all corporate internal audits in associated databases.
• Follow up with audited sites to ensure timely resolution of nonconformances.
• Track and prepare trend reports on audit outcomes and nonconformance issues.
• Manage conflict resolution that may arise during audit processes.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in life sciences or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality system auditing.
• Proven experience in completing and maintaining audit documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• In-depth knowledge of all elements of a Quality System, including Internal Audit and Corrective/Preventive Action subsystems.
• Understanding of U.S. and international medical device regulations.
• Evidence of training to QSmR, ISO 13485:2016, EU MDR, MDSAP, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Valid passport with availability for international travel (approx. 35%).
Internal and External Contacts:
• Interaction with all levels of global Getinge teams.
• Limited external contacts.
Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:
• Ensure environmental awareness and safe practices in decision-making.
• Use of computer, telephone, and office equipment to complete assignments.
• May work alternate or extended hours while performing audits.
• Domestic and international travel required (~35%).
