Hiring Internal Audit Officer

Location: UAE, Abu Dhabi

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Internal Audit Officer to join our Jannah Family. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in internal auditing with a preference for experience in the hospitality industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Develops the internal audit plan, program and methodologies in collaboration with the internal audit department head.
• Manage resources and audit assignments.
• Prepare draft audit programs, request listings, testing strategies, and other pre-audit planning activities aimed at ensuring an efficient and effective audit.
• Efficiently execute assigned projects included on the risk-based Internal Audit Plan, including audits of hotels, corporate functions, shared services, restaurants, and other business areas (as needed).
• Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.
• Review completeness, appropriateness and effectiveness of processes, embedded controls and procedures, analyses deficiencies in terms of potential risks and recommends necessary action.
• Execute Internal Audit projects, internal controls testing, and preparing workpapers / reports in accordance with department and Institute of Internal Auditor (IIA) standards.
• Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.
• Seek to continuously improve hotel audit processes to reduce risk and remain updated on developments within the hospitality industry best practices as well as related regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of potential fraud and identify areas of risk.
• Manage various ad-hoc projects/special audits as advised by the management and internal audit team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• ACCA, CIA, or CA qualification is required.
• 3-4 years of relevant internal audit experience.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Arabic speaker is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
