Dubai London Hospital Group is looking for a qualified and patient-focused Inpatient Pharmacist to join its hospital team in Dubai. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management for admitted patients. Key Responsibilities:
• Review and verify inpatient medication orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety.
• Dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy.
• Monitor patients for drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, and treatment effectiveness.
• Provide medication information and guidance to healthcare professionals and patients when required.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and patient medication records.
• Support medication safety programs and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as an Inpatient Pharmacist in a hospital setting is mandatory.
• DHA Eligibility Letter or DHA Pharmacist License is required.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Inpatient medication management and clinical pharmacy practices.
• Medication safety protocols and therapeutic monitoring.
• Hospital information systems and electronic prescribing platforms.
• Fluency in Arabic or Tagalog is mandatory.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
