𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:
We are seeking a highly motivated 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 with a proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary design projects related to 𝐰𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐲 𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠. The successful candidate will lead the design function across all infrastructure packages, coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders, and ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of infrastructure solutions.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Lead full design lifecycle (concept to IFC)
- Oversee utility, road, and traffic designs
- Ensure authority compliance (ADM, ITC, TAQA, etc.)
- Coordinate with clients, teams, and sub-consultants
- Manage risks, reviews, value engineering
- Support bids, costing, and planning
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered Engineer status or professional membership (e.g., ICE, ASCE, PMI) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience with infrastructure projects in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of local authority standards and approval processes (DMT, ADM, DOT, TAQA, Etisalat, etc.).
- Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary design teams and sub-consultants.
𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for interfacing with stakeholders and clients.
- High-level proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D,
- WaterGEMS, InfoDrainage, SYNCHRO, HCS, etc.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) is a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
