BS&P is seeking an In-Charge Senior Accountant to join its growing team. This mid-level role involves preparing complex individual and corporate tax returns, reviewing basic tax returns, and providing guidance and mentorship to staff while building professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex individual and corporate tax returns
- Review basic types of tax returns and assist staff with questions
- Conduct complex tax research and advise clients on strategic issues
- Engage proactively and maintain professional, trusted relationships with clients and team members
- Complete projects and engagements within realistic budgets
- Stay current on tax law changes and updates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with CPA certification
- Proven experience with corporate and individual tax returns
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting tax preparation
- Proficiency with CCH Axcess and Engagement software
