Description:
Dubai Scholars Pvt. School is currently looking for a passionate and qualified IGCSE / A-Level Chemistry Teacher to become part of its academic team starting from August 2026. The school is seeking an educator who can create an engaging and inspiring learning environment for secondary students while delivering high-quality Chemistry lessons aligned with international curriculum standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management abilities, and a commitment to helping students achieve academic success through interactive and inquiry-based teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and well-structured Chemistry lessons for IGCSE and A-Level students
• Encourage critical thinking and scientific exploration through practical learning activities
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and classroom activities aligned with curriculum objectives
• Support students academically and motivate them to perform at their highest potential
• Maintain effective classroom discipline and create a positive learning atmosphere
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback when required
• Collaborate with academic staff and contribute to school educational initiatives
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Chemistry
• B.Ed, PGCE, or QTS qualification is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate secondary-level students effectively
• Practical and inquiry-based teaching approach preferred
Added Advantage:
• Familiarity with Pearson Edexcel curriculum and specifications
• UAE MOE approval under Cycle 3 – Chemistry will be considered an advantage
