Description:
A company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across core HR functions in the UAE and be capable of working in a structured, professional environment. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in UAE government or semi-government entities.
The HR Generalist will manage end-to-end HR operations, support payroll and employee benefits, coordinate with government authorities for visas and labour cards, and provide guidance on HR policies and employee relations. The role requires fluency in both Arabic and English and a strong understanding of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing full-cycle HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Handling employee relations, HR policies, and disciplinary procedures in compliance with UAE Labour Law.
- Supporting payroll processing, compensation & benefits administration, and leave management.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
- Coordinating with government entities regarding visas, labour cards, and related formalities.
- Assisting with performance management, training programs, and employee development initiatives.
- Providing day-to-day HR advisory support to management and staff.
Requirements include:
- 5–7 years of HR Generalist experience in the UAE.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices.
- Prior HR experience in a UAE government or semi-government organization is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
