The HR Analyst is a detail-oriented, strategically minded professional responsible for HR data management and payroll coordination. This role converts HR data into actionable insights, optimizes HR systems, and ensures accurate payroll processing with Sysco’s Global Support Center. The ideal candidate combines analytical skills with HR and payroll expertise.

Responsibilities:

Data Analytics & Strategic Support
• Collect, clean, and analyze HR data from multiple sources (Workday – HCM, ATS, LMS, etc.)
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for HR Partners, Finance, and leadership
• Identify trends and provide insights for workforce planning, DEI, engagement, and retention strategies
• Support HR initiatives and projects with data-driven recommendations and predictive analytics

HRIS Optimization
• Collaborate with HR Partners, Sysco’s Shared Services, and HRIS teams to enhance system functionality and ensure data integrity
• Conduct regular audits and advise appropriate HR Partners to create Workday Help Cases for missing or incomplete data
• Streamline reporting workflows and improve user experience for HR stakeholders
• Maintain consistent data definitions and reporting standards across HR groups and regions

Payroll Coordination
• Prepare and coordinate bi-weekly payroll processing with Sysco’s Shared Services Center
• Manage updates for new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and other payroll-related events
• Monitor ADP eTime timekeeping, ensuring timely approvals and providing training as needed
• Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reporting
• Process one-time payments such as sales incentives and special awards
• Serve as the point of contact for payroll inquiries and resolution

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in HR analytics, payroll coordination, or related role
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
• Experience with Workday HCM platform and ADP eTime
• Familiarity with process optimization and continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt) is a plus
• Experience in global or multi-site organizations is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SQL or scripting languages such as R or Python is advantageous
