Description:
We are actively seeking a committed HSE Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental policies and programs across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training programs on health, safety, and environmental policies to employees at all levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into operational procedures and strategies.
• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, preparing reports and presentations for management review.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and government regulations, updating policies and procedures as necessary.
• Act as a key point of contact for HSE-related inquiries, fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management within an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct effective training and communicate HSE principles to diverse audiences.
Preferred:
• Certification such as NEBOSH, CSP, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience in conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Familiarity with environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety Management (ISO 45001).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies:
• Proficiency in HSE management software and tools for incident reporting and tracking.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and safety program implementation.
