We’re Hiring: HSE Officer | Steel Structure Manufacturing

A well-established organization within the steel structure manufacturing and engineering sector is seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Officer to join its operations in the UAE. This role is critical in ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across the manufacturing facility while fostering a strong safety-first culture.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated HSE professional with hands-on industrial experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to implement and monitor effective safety systems in line with UAE laws and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and monitoring HSE management systems in accordance with local regulations and company policies
  • Conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, internal audits, and site evaluations
  • Delivering HSE training sessions, awareness programs, and regular toolbox talks
  • Ensuring availability, proper use, and maintenance of safety equipment and PPE
  • Investigating incidents and accidents, preparing reports, and recommending preventive actions
  • Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant discipline
  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience within steel structures, heavy manufacturing, or a similar industry
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE labor laws and HSE regulations
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills
  • Experience handling ISO audits for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an added advantage
  • Open to candidates of any nationality
