We Are Hiring — HRIS Specialist


We are looking for an experienced HRIS Specialist to join a busy HR function in Abu Dhabi on a short-term contract with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, technically capable, and experienced in translating HR data into clear insights that support strategic people decisions. This role sits within the Human Resources department and plays a key part in maintaining HR systems, driving data accuracy, and enabling HR digital initiatives.

Must Have:

  • Proven experience in HR data analytics or data visualization, with extensive hands-on use of Power BI or Tableau.

Role Overview:

  • Manage and optimize the HRIS to ensure accurate, timely HR data and smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Deliver management-ready reports and interactive dashboards to HR leadership and business partners.
  • Track and analyze key HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, attendance, and performance to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to identify system enhancements and implement improvements or new modules.
  • Safeguard HR data by ensuring compliance with data privacy requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Provide training and end-user support for HRIS features and reporting.
  • Lead or support HRIS projects including upgrades, integrations, and module rollouts.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with vendors or internal IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the HRIS platform with rigorous data-entry controls and process discipline.
  • Generate recurring and ad-hoc HR reports, visualizations, and executive presentations.
  • Monitor HR KPIs and surface trends and insights to influence people strategies.
  • Support digital transformation efforts within HR by recommending automation and system optimizations.
  • Ensure documentation of processes and maintain clear governance for HR data.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
  • 6–8 years of practical HRIS administration experience, ideally within large, multi-entity organizations.
  • Hands-on exposure to major HR platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, or comparable systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong competency with Power BI or Tableau for building analytical dashboards.
  • Ability to prepare polished PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with UAE labour law and local HR compliance is an advantage.
