Description:

Sharaf Shipping Agency (SSA) is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its Human Resources team in Dubai. This full-time permanent position is responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding and daily HR operations to offboarding, while ensuring compliance with UAE labour regulations.

The successful candidate will oversee HR administration, immigration processes, payroll support, and employee records using SAP SuccessFactors. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong UAE experience, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of employment regulations and HR best practices.

Candidates with experience in the shipping, logistics, or multi-entity business environment will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete onboarding process, including offer letters, MOHRE work permits, visa processing, medical examinations, Emirates ID applications, and employee induction.

• Handle end-to-end offboarding, including employee clearance, final settlement, EOS gratuity calculations, visa cancellation, and exit interviews.

• Maintain accurate employee records in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central for hires, promotions, transfers, and exits.

• Ensure compliance with MOHRE, WPS, immigration regulations, and UAE Labour Law.

• Support daily HR operations, including HR letters, leave administration, attendance management, payroll inputs, MIS reporting, and audit requirements.

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth HR operations and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of HR Generalist experience, including at least 2 years in the UAE.

• Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central).

• Strong knowledge of MOHRE procedures, WPS, immigration processes, and UAE Labour Law.

• Experience calculating End of Service (EOS) gratuity.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• CIPD Level 5, SHRM-CP, or an equivalent HR certification is preferred.

• Experience in shipping, logistics, or a multi-entity organization is an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of:
