Description:
Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a dedicated HR Contact Center Representative I to serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and support. This fully remote role requires daily engagement via inbound calls and chats to address employee concerns, provide accurate information, and escalate complex issues to specialized HR professionals when necessary. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, self-motivated, and skilled in communication and organizational management.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve employee inquiries using contact center procedures, policy manuals, and knowledge management systems.
  • Document all interactions and issues accurately in case management applications such as ServiceNow.
  • Escalate employee concerns to Functional Specialists when in-depth expertise is required.
  • Maintain and suggest updates to the online knowledge base for accurate and current information.
  • Identify patterns in employee inquiries and collaborate with supervisors or managers to improve processes and training.
  • Recommend enhancements to procedures, technologies, and workflow efficiencies.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; higher education in HR or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience in HR, call center, or related administrative roles preferred.
  • One year or more experience with case management systems (ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, active listening, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Ability to foster open dialogue and collaboration within the team.

Compensation Information:

  • Hourly pay range: $17.00 – $20.00.
  • Eligible for annual bonus, commission, or long-term incentive plans based on performance and role level.
