Start Date & Assignment: This role begins in January 2026 for Academic Year 2025–26. The position is based in Abu Dhabi — applicants must already be located in the UAE.

Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and qualified High School English Teacher to join our secondary faculty. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging English lessons, support learners of varying abilities (including EAL students), and contribute to curriculum development and assessment practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that meet curriculum standards and engage high school learners.
  • Differentiate instruction to support EAL students and other learners with diverse needs.
  • Design and administer assessments, monitor student progress, and provide clear feedback.
  • Collaborate with the department on curriculum planning, scheme of work, and sharing best practices.
  • Communicate professionally with parents and school stakeholders regarding student progress and classroom matters.
  • Participate in school life including staff meetings, professional development, and extracurricular or reporting duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
  • 1–2 years of classroom teaching experience; experience with EAL learners is preferred.
  • UAE teaching experience is an advantage.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must be currently based in the UAE and available to start in January 2026.
