Description:
Crossing Hurdles, a leading recruitment firm, is seeking talented Health & Beauty Experts to join a remote team supporting AI research labs in developing and refining cutting-edge AI models. This role allows you to contribute your beauty expertise while working flexible hours from anywhere in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate a wide range of beauty products including skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrances, analyzing ingredient quality, formulation, shade/undertone fit, and hair type/texture suitability.
- Write clear, concise, and objective product recommendations including specifications, pros/cons, buyer guidance, and links tailored to diverse shopper needs.
- Compare products across various price points and retailers, highlighting best-value and premium options.
- Assess product inclusivity across skin tones, textures, and sensitivities while ensuring safety; avoid making medical or therapeutic claims.
- Create structured comparisons, buyer’s guides, and real-world use cases for consumer applications.
- Review and enhance AI-generated product suggestions by providing corrections, annotations, and contextual guidance.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in retail (e.g., Sephora/Ulta), salon work, MUA/esthetician roles, beauty editorial, or demonstrable passion and expertise in beauty.
- Ability to objectively evaluate products and provide clear, concise recommendations.
- Comfortable cross-shopping across retailers and price ranges while presenting balanced pros/cons and specifications.
- Strong judgment regarding inclusivity, safety, and ethical product claims.
