Role Overview:
Daniel & Philip’s is recruiting an experienced and inspirational Head of Primary to lead a reputable British-curriculum school in Al Ain. The successful candidate will provide strong academic leadership, manage the primary phase operationally and pedagogically, and help drive continued school improvement within an established international group.
Location & Start Date:
- Based in Al Ain, UAE.
- Preferred start date: before October 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the primary leadership team to maintain and raise academic standards across all year groups.
- Oversee curriculum implementation, assessment practices, and teaching quality aligned to the British curriculum.
- Develop and implement school policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding standards.
- Coach, mentor, and line-manage teachers; lead professional development and performance appraisal cycles.
- Promote a positive, inclusive school culture that supports pupil wellbeing and excellent behaviour.
- Drive initiatives that improve student outcomes and close attainment gaps.
- Maintain strong communication with parents, staff, and senior leadership; represent the primary phase externally when required.
- Contribute to strategic planning and school-wide improvement projects.
