Description:
Gulf Model School in Dubai is currently looking for an experienced and results-driven Head of Phase 4 to lead its senior secondary section, covering Grades 9 to 12. This role is ideal for an education professional who can effectively manage academic operations within a dual curriculum environment, including CBSE and Kerala Board.
The selected candidate will play a key leadership role in maintaining academic excellence, guiding faculty members, and ensuring students receive a well-rounded educational experience. This position also involves close coordination with parents, staff, and school management to foster a productive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide academic leadership and oversee the smooth functioning of Grades 9–12
• Plan and monitor curriculum delivery, assessments, and overall academic performance
• Ensure proper implementation of CBSE and Kerala Board curricula
• Supervise, guide, and mentor teaching staff to uphold high teaching standards
• Manage student discipline, wellbeing, and pastoral care systems
• Maintain effective communication with parents and stakeholders
• Coordinate pre-board and mock examinations with the examination department
• Review academic results and implement improvement strategies
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with school policies and standards
• Stay updated with KHDA requirements and ensure adherence where applicable
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree (Regular) along with B.Ed. qualification (Mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of teaching and/or leadership experience
• At least 2 years of experience working in the UAE (Mandatory)
• Proven experience handling senior secondary classes (Grades 9–12)
• Strong familiarity with CBSE and/or Kerala Board curriculum
• Strong leadership and organizational capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of:
• Academic planning and curriculum management
• Student discipline and pastoral care systems
• KHDA guidelines and educational compliance processes
