Aviation-focused organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Inventory to oversee and optimize aviation spare parts inventory operations. The role involves leading inventory planning, improving stock efficiency, and driving monetization strategies to support business growth and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in inventory management within aviation, MRO, or spare parts trading environments. This leadership role requires a professional who can manage end-to-end inventory processes while ensuring availability of critical aircraft components and maintaining high operational standards.
Immediate joiners are preferred for this office-based position in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement inventory strategies aligned with business and revenue objectives
• Manage the full inventory lifecycle including planning, storage, and liquidation
• Analyze demand patterns and create forecasting models for optimal stock control
• Reduce dead stock and improve overall inventory turnover efficiency
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations
• Design and execute inventory monetization and pricing strategies
• Monitor key inventory KPIs such as aging, turnover, and utilization
• Maintain accurate tracking using ERP and WMS systems
• Lead, train, and mentor inventory management teams
• Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards and quality requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• 8–12 years of experience in inventory management with leadership exposure
• Strong background in aviation, MRO, or spare parts trading preferred
• Expertise in inventory optimization, forecasting, and stock management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
• Ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence
