Description:
A leading organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead its finance function and drive strategic financial performance. This senior leadership role is ideal for a finance professional with extensive experience in regulated financial institutions, including exchange houses, banking, or financial services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial strategy, budgeting, treasury operations, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and risk management. The role also requires strong leadership skills to develop the finance team while providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. This is an urgent hiring requirement, with face-to-face interviews preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity management, and working capital optimization.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage financial reporting, internal controls, and enterprise risk management.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while driving operational excellence.
• Monitor financial performance and support business growth initiatives.
Requirements:
• 15–18 years of relevant finance leadership experience.
• Previous experience as a Head of Finance, Finance Director, or in a similar senior finance leadership role.
• Strong background in Exchange Houses, Financial Services, Banking, or other regulated financial institutions.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, treasury management, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Strong understanding of UAE regulatory requirements, financial governance, VAT, and Corporate Tax.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Face-to-face interview availability is preferred.
