We are currently hiring a highly experienced and results-oriented Head of Accounts for our Dubai office. This senior leadership role is designed for a finance professional with extensive experience who can lead the organization’s financial strategy, planning, governance, and compliance functions. The role plays a critical part in ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial insight to support long-term business growth.

The Head of Accounts will be responsible for maintaining strong financial discipline across operations, ensuring statutory compliance, overseeing payroll and vendor management, and delivering accurate MIS reports to support executive decision-making. This position is based in Dubai and involves coordination across UAE and India operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting and Compliance:

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closings across multiple entities and regions
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, including calculations, filings, documentation, and audit readiness
  • Supervise Indian GST accounting, reconciliations, export-related accounting, and statutory reporting for India-based operations
  • Manage EXIM accounting, invoicing, costing, and timely realization of export receivables

Financial Reporting and Controls:

  • Prepare and finalize financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Coordinate with internal auditors and statutory auditors in both the UAE and India
  • Align and standardize accounting policies between UAE and Indian books to strengthen internal controls and improve process efficiency

Treasury, Administration, and Leadership:

  • Manage cash flows, banking relationships, and working capital optimization
  • Oversee office administration, payroll processing, employee support services, procurement coordination, and vendor management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts and administration team to ensure timely, accurate reporting and strong cross-functional coordination
