Description:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Digital Transformation to lead strategic digital initiatives that enhance guest experiences, modernize systems, and support broader business goals. This senior role will oversee end-to-end delivery of digital programmes, shape strategy, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

  • Job purpose: Lead and manage the company’s digital transformation agenda—driving projects that improve customer journeys, enable automation, and deliver measurable outcomes while working closely with IT, operations and commercial teams.
  • Digital programme delivery:
    • Plan, manage and deliver digital projects from initiation to handover.
    • Ensure projects align with company objectives and customer needs.
    • Oversee vendor relationships, manage risks and budgets, and keep delivery on schedule.
  • Digital strategy:
    • Define and refine digital strategy by evaluating new technologies and approaches.
    • Identify automation and service-improvement opportunities.
    • Partner with IT and operations to build scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Stakeholder management:
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements and drive adoption.
    • Run workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather feedback and build consensus.
    • Communicate progress and outcomes clearly to senior leaders.
  • Governance & continuous improvement:
    • Establish KPIs, monitor delivery performance, and report on results.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Promote agile delivery practices and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Innovation & capability building:
    • Champion a digital-first culture across the business.
    • Support upskilling and training initiatives to raise digital capability.
    • Encourage experimentation with new platforms and personalization tools.

Technical & industry expectations:

  • Strong familiarity with DXP platforms, Headless CMS and microservices architectures.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CRM, CDP and personalization tooling, as well as web/app technologies, eCommerce and loyalty systems.
  • Proven track record delivering agile digital programmes; previous experience in Aviation or other B2C industries is preferred.
