An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen operations of a dynamic Asian concept restaurant in Dubai. The role is suited for a passionate culinary professional with strong expertise in authentic Asian cuisine, kitchen management, and team leadership.
The successful candidate will oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain exceptional food quality standards, and guide the culinary team in delivering consistent and authentic dining experiences. This position is ideal for a creative and disciplined chef who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and has a deep understanding of traditional Asian cooking techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise all kitchen operations to ensure smooth daily service
• Prepare and oversee the production of hand-pulled noodles and dumplings
• Manage wok stations and high-heat Asian cooking processes
• Maintain consistency in food presentation, taste, and quality standards
• Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to improve performance and efficiency
• Monitor food costs, inventory levels, and kitchen productivity
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
• Coordinate kitchen schedules and operational workflows
• Support menu execution while maintaining authentic Asian flavors
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within an Asian restaurant environment
• Strong practical experience with hand-pulled noodles, dumpling preparation, and wok cooking
• Ability to manage kitchen operations in a high-volume restaurant setting
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience training and supervising kitchen staff
• Excellent understanding of food quality control and kitchen hygiene standards
• Ability to manage food costs and operational efficiency
• Available to attend and participate in in-person cooking trials
• Strong knowledge of:
• Hand-pulled noodle preparation techniques
• Dumpling production and recipe execution

• UAE restaurant experience will be considered an advantage
