Nango (YC W23) is seeking a highly skilled Growth Engineer to join our remote USA team. As a developer infrastructure company, Nango enables AI applications to connect seamlessly to real-world integrations, serving over 200 paying customers including Replit, Linux, and Vapi. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market efforts, focusing on driving product adoption, monetization, and user engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work as a full-stack engineer on growth-critical product areas, including onboarding, activation, and retention
• Build and optimize onboarding flows, in-product guidance, and AI-assisted workflows to enhance user success
• Design and implement systems for billing, payments, usage, plans, and monetization
• Develop internal tools and experiments to support marketing, attribution, and growth analytics
• Enhance product propagation via documentation, website features, blog infrastructure, and developer education
• Build scalable tooling for word-of-mouth growth, referrals, and distribution mechanisms
• Collaborate with product and business teams to identify friction points and high-leverage growth opportunities
• Own end-to-end projects from ideation to production, focusing on measurable impact
• Serve as a technical bridge between engineering, product, and go-to-market teams
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong coding skills
• Proficient with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern web stacks
• Strong business and product mindset with empathy for customers
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Pragmatic, positive, low ego, with the ability to take ownership and unblock others
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
• Based in the USA
